GIVE ONLINE.

We provide a secure online giving option for the convenience of those who regularly attend and support the ministries of Revive Church. Through eGive, we are able to receive Electronic Fund Transfers (EFT) directly from your bank account into a designated “Donation” bank account for our church.

What are the benefits of eGiving?

You'll simplify your life.
Your giving is automatically deposited on the schedule and date you decide—no writing a check, remembering to bring it or sending it to church if you miss a Sunday.

You're exercising your faith and committing to fulfill your good intentions.
Most of us want to give regularly, but busyness, absences and distractions frustrate our good intentions. By scheduling your contributions, you're deciding in advance to give.

You have complete flexibility.
You can make a one-time gift or schedule recurring gifts. Set the schedule you desire: weekly, monthly, twice monthly, etc. Stop, start or change the schedule or amount any time.

You're helping your church.
Counting, depositing and tracking donations is easier with online contributions. Scheduled contributions help with budgeting and planning.

FAQS ABOUT EGIVING

  1. Does online giving cost a lot to use?
It costs you nothing and saves you time. The fee to the church for processing a donation is less than half the price of a postage stamp.

  2. Are electronic contributions risky?
No. An electronic contribution is safer than writing a check, and it can't be lost, stolen or destroyed in the mail. To sign up for eGive, you are only giving information that is already printed on your check. National laws, rules, and guidelines govern all Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) transactions. Over four billion EFT transactions are processed annually in the United States.

  3. Can I try eGive and if I don't like it, can I stop?
Yes. You may want to first test online giving by selecting "One-Time Gift" in the Giving Amount and Date section of eGive. You can cancel your scheduled giving authorization at any time—just fill out the Cancel Giving Form or call eGive at 636-527-6623 or toll free at 1-866-303-6623. eGiving will be stopped within two business days.

  4. I click eGive link and nothing happens, what's wrong?
When you click an eGive link, a new browser window is opened. If you are using a pop-up blocker such as the Google Toolbar, Norton Internet Security, or Pop-Up Stopper, the window will not open. Most tools will allow you to permit pop-ups on a specific web site. In order to use eGive, you will need to allow pop-ups within www.ReviveBrooklynPark.org.

  5. When would this automatic contribution be charged to my account?
Whenever you like. On the sign-up screens, you can specify whether you want your contribution made one time, weekly, twice per month, monthly, quarterly or yearly. Weekly contributions are made on Fridays. If the date you have selected falls on a weekend or holiday, the transaction will occur on the next business day. You can set up as many schedules as you would like, so it's possible to give a monthly gift as well as a weekly one.

  6. How can I keep track of the amount I have contributed?
eGive will send a confirmation e-mail to acknowledge your gift. Your bank statement will include an itemized list of automatic gifts given from your account. We will continue to provide you with a personal giving statement for your tax records detailing all online and other giving. Most checkbook software like Quicken allows for automatic entry into your register of recurring transactions.

  7. Is it possible to divide my giving into catergories?
Yes. One debit will be posted to your account and the giving breakout information will be sent by eGive to the receiver. This breakout information is detailed on the eGive sign-up form.

  8. If my account is debited for the wrong amount, will eGive fix it?
Yes. eGive guarantees that payments will be accurately deducted from your account for the amount on the date listed on the eGive sign-up form. If eGive makes a mistake, we will correct it within two business days. Please use our Report an Error form to notify us of any errors.

  9. If I do not write checks, how do I keep my checkbook balance straight?
Since your contribution is made at a pre-established time, you simply record it in your check register on the appropriate date.

  10. Can I give using my credit or debit card for automatic giving?
No. We only provide a credit card option for one-time donations. We prefer that you set up Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) through eGive rather than credit card for two primary reasons:
    1. We wouldn't want the potential of a person accumulating debt or paying credit card interest on gifts to the church. Although many pay off their credit cards each month or use debit cards that immediately withdraw the money from an account, it is not always the case. EFT seems the best way to encourage good stewardship in the church and the people of the church.
    2. Credit card processing is much more expensive. Per transaction fees would divert as much as 3% of your gift to the credit card company.

  11. How do I sign up for Online Giving?
